Gluepot Reserve & Bowra Sanctuary Birding Safari

- Duration: 8 Days (approx.)
- Location: Queensland/South Australia
- Product code: GluepotBowra
We’ll spend a full day at glorious Gluepot Reserve where we can expect
birds such as Striated Grasswren, Black-eared Miner, Red-lored Whistler,
Malleefowl and perhaps even Scarlet-chested Parrot! We’ll visit nearby
conservation reserves as well. We’ll then travel through remote outback areas
looking for Flock Bronzewing, Gibberbird and Cinnamon Quail-thrush. Eventually
we’ll end up in beautiful Bowra Station near Cunnamulla in central Queensland,
home to unique birds such as Hall’s Babbler, Chestnut-breasted Quail-thrush,
Bourke’s Parrot and maybe even Grey Falcon! Other good birds we are likely to
come across during this tour include Plum-headed Finch, Little Woodswallow,
Australian Bustard, Inland Dotterel, Orange and Crimson Chat and Chestnut
Quail-thrush.
